Vance Boelter Has Penned a Handwritten Letter to the FBI Blaming MN Governor Tim Walz for the Shootings

A Walter White Halloween mask. A cowboy hat. Guns. Ammo. A tactical vest. No Kings flyers. A kill list. A $900 car purchased just hours before the crime. Sounds like a film plot, but it’s the news. 🗞

Minnesota Governor, Tim Walz, left and Vance Boelter, right (after a 2 day manhunt, where he was captured in a field). Vance has blamed the Governor in a letter to the FBI.

Minnesota Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband were both fatally wounded. Speaker Hortman had just earlier that day, voted NO at the state legislature, to illegal aliens receiving free state benefits in Minnesota. It was a very tight vote and Speaker Hortman, a Democrat, knew she “would catch hell from her party” for siding with the Republicans.

According to Fox News, as of 6/20/2025, Senator Hoffman is still in the hospital recovering from his wounds and is in critical, but stable condition. His wife Yvette, has been released from the hospital.

A cowboy hat found on the side of Highway 25 in Sibley County, Minnesota, near the $900 vehicle of interest found nearby, which was apparently purchased by Mr. Boelter hours before the shootings. Also found in the vehicle were No Kings protest flyers and a ‘kill list’ with other politicians names on it, along with guns, rifles and ammo recovered at Boetler’s home after a search warrant had been executed. Boetler’s wife was stopped during a traffic incident, while Boetler was still at large, with multiple passports and a bag of cash. She was released and has not been charged with any crimes yet.

Boelter explicitly blames Walz’s radical policies and inflammatory rhetoric for driving him to commit the murderous rampage, in a handwritten letter addressed to FBI DIRECTOR Kash Patel.

Also reporting on the FBI letter, largely dismissing its contents, is The Minnesota Star Tribune.

The Minnesota Star Tribune states the following, regarding the letter from Boelter to the FBI;

“In a rambling, conspiratorial letter addressed to the FBI, alleged assassin Vance Boelter claimed Gov. Tim Walz instructed him to kill U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar so that Walz could run for the U.S. Senate, according to two people familiar with the contents of the letter.”

The FBI letter doesn’t seem to be getting a whole lot of news coverage yet, but most sources that are reporting it, seem to summarize the letter as ‘conspiratorial’.

This has to be one of the strangest stories I have heard in quite some time! 😳😵
